It was 1971 when the journalist Ramón Pouso and his wife Malika decided to live in Ceuta. The place chosen was the hill of Mount Hacho, and at that time, there was only a plot with a little house. Here, they decided to set up their life project to get away from it all: El Oasis.

In its origin, it was a tea room but later, with sacrifice and effort, it began to grow and became what it is today. A place where you can taste the typical food made by our cook and owner Malika and also, where you can look up the silhouette of our beautiful city, Ceuta, and the narrow blue corridor which separates Africa from Europe, it is called the Strait of Gibraltar.

Then, the Oasis restaurant becomes a pleasure for all of the senses on a balcony where you can enjoy the landscapes and nature. Besides, you can taste exotic flavors and enjoy the cultural mix of our gastronomy.
